Promote volunteering & establish and work with conservation and development projects in Costa Rica!

ABOUT ME

I work and live in Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica, and I've lived in the country for over 4 years now. I established a volunteer company and a Dog Rescue Project in Jimenez, and I'm hoping to establish more conservation and development projects throughout Costa Rica. I also work as a website developer and graphic designer. I also have studied for 6 months in Costa Rica during my Masters (I've studied Environmental Studies and Biology). I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world. Before CR I lived in Canada (3 years), Sweden (1 year), New Zealand (1 1/2 years) and travelled through South East Asia, Eastern Europe, and Australia. :).. I am originally from Germany by the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed and offering a couch. I love hosting and showing people around (if I have time, I have a busy schedule). I have made the BEST friendships through Couchsurfing. Love this place :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

uuhh.... there are sooo many!!! I will try to list the ones that immediately come to my mind..

I had an amazing experience watching Irrawaddy Dolphins in the Mekong River in Si Phan Don, Laos. I unfortunately might be one of the last people on earth who got to see them, since they are most likely going to be extinct in the near future.

Lived, snowboarded, and traveled in one of the most beautiful beautiful countries on earth- New Zealand.

Both Hampi (India) and Angkor Wat (Cambodia) were places that blew my mind. Old temples are just stunning.

Experiencing the amazing energy of orphan kids in India... If everybody could be as energetic, creative and caring the world would be a much better place!

I could teach you German, English, Spanish, my tiny bit of Swedish, and about biology, about the rain forest, and other environmental issues of today. I could teach you a bit about dog training (I worked at a dog training center for a while). I am happy to share my travel experiences with you and tell you everything you would possibly want to know about getting around in Costa Rica, Southern India, South East Asia, New Zealand, Sweden, Canada, Germany, and Europe.
