At the moment I'm travelling through Canada and Western US, bought myself a little Jeep and built a bed in it's back so I dont have to stick with the Tourist routes. Part of the time I'm staying and helping out at some Ranches, especially in Canada, so whenever I'm "on the road" I'd like to get in touch with locals as much as possible as well...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get in touch with people more easily (especially with locals) and also because I'm a bit sick of some hostel atmospheres at the moment...

I do sleep in the back of my Jeep pretty often while travelling but sometimes I would also appreciate it a lot to be able to stretch my legs while sleeping....

Interests

I love to go hiking in the mountains (I grew up in Switzerland, in the middle of the Alps) and to ride my Honda black widow motorcycle (had to leave it back home unfortunately) whenever I got some time off. Swimming in the lake or the river is also something that I try to do as much as I can as soon as it gets warmer outside and in the wintertime I go skiing pretty often.

At home I'm working as a bartender so I do not have a lot of free evenings to go out but whenever there's a good band playing nearby I try to go to their concert.
