About Me
Do you also find it so difficult, to describe yourself? Well, here's my try... ;)
I think I'm open minded, curious, funny and in general a very positive and smiley person. I'm always up to meet new people and discover new places. Recently I moved from Leipzig, Germany, to Jersey City, USA, and I'm still trying to settle in - so I am always happy to hear from you whenever you're around!
I love to learn new languages: So far I speak English and French fluently, and I'm currently working on my Spanish. I'm an "outside person", whenever there's some sun and blue sky, nothing holds me at my place.
I might be a bit clumsy at times (my nickname amongst friends is "Goofy"), but I think I can make that up with a big heart and by not taking myself too serious. ;)
I think this community offers a lot of possibilities. So why not use them and make new friends? :)
Cheers, Janine

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to dance to Hip Hop, R'n'B or Latin but I can also have fun at a 90's or electro party.
I loved movies like "La haine", "Lucky number Slevin" or "Fight club", so specially those kind of movies that question society or twist your mind. But I will also enjoy any kind of good comedy, thriller and - of course - love story. ;) Just bloody horror movies are not my thing (getting normally so horrified that I will close my eyes all the time)
When it comes to books I don't have that one special field I like to read about. I like police thrillers, loved Harry Potter, devoured Dan Brown, but also "A brief history of time" by Stephen Hawking.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been lucky to see a lot of countries in Europe so far, but I'm still a newbie when it comes to continents like North and South America and Asia. I spent half a year as a student in Bordeaux, France and loved the city, culture and the people's spirit there. Definitely a town to recommend you, guys! Now I hope to have new great experiences here in the US. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can definitely teach you some German, if you're interested and bake some of my famous triple chocolate brownies with you. :)
