About Me

Life motto: Work hard and be nice to people.

I'm curious, laid back, and absolutely love a good book. I'm honest and open hearted and love connecting with other indigo people. I'm currently working remotely on my PhD in Transformative Studies; I research how women recover from trauma. I have a few clients I work with as a life coach (psthereshope.org), I compete in triathlons a few times a year, and my favorite place in the world is the library.

Total board game geek and really into anything outdoors (especially camping and water sports). I'm really close with my HUGE family (11 siblings total) and I'm smack in the middle of all of them.

I've been traveling to and from California while I interview for jobs and make my final move to the Los Angeles area. Any tips on local spots would be so appreciated!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been on the site for years and I love it! I've had so many opportunities to meet lifelong friends both as a host and a guest and I wouldn't travel any other way.

Interests

I really enjoy backpacking, singing karaoke, and snuggling with my pug, Sugar. On days off, I'm generally at a cafe reading or doing homework at the beach. Secret talents include unraveling twinkle lights, drawing a perfect circle, and thanking the bus driver.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time in my life I flipped a coin onto a U.S. map and moved where it landed. It landed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I stayed there for two years, and it's still one of my favorite places in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Apparently a lemon isn't naturally occurring and is a hybrid by cross breeding a bitter orange and a citron. Which means life never gave us lemons; we invented them all by ourselves.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very easy going so I take care of my own food, pack light, and love exploring (by myself or with others). I'm also down to treat my host to a night out or drinks on me! Happy to contribute groceries and good vibes always.

Other party tricks: palm reading, tarot card spreads (I'm a clairvoyant and synesthete), and I happen to be really talented at making the perfect playlist.
