I am young and active student from Latvia looking for ways to explore the world in its full beauty by stepping out of my comfort zone into the unknown. I feel challenged to show the world that an awesome, fun and adventurous life can be lived without embordering yourself within the frame of your financial status. All it takes is courage, faith, building and maintaining relationships, and being open to offer help as well as to be grateful when receiving one yourself.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I am on Couchsurfing because I find it awesome to step into the unknown, travel and meet new people. I am tired of traditional tourism where you get to know only the iconic places which can be found all over the internet. I believe that the best way to fully explore and capture the beauty of each place you go to, is to immerse yourelf in local culture- get to know the people,hear their stories, and see how they live.

Interesses

Besides traveling and exploring the world and its cultures I love playing guitar and basketball. While I'm still improving on the first one, basketball has been part of my life for more than 12 years now. I am also keen on investing in my mind and soul- I like to read, and I like to take part in various events and projects enabling me to meet new people, travel and grow as a personality.

Currently, I have traveled from Latvia to 15 countries including Iceland and China without spending a cent, by using opprtunities to participate in various projects, basketball tournaments, and also by hitchiking.
