HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew it from my friend, and I thought it's cool!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never been couchsurfed before, I've always contact my high school mates or below whenever I've to go to other city for trip. But I have experienced as a student ambassador in my faculty and "pembimbing" in Australian Consortium for 'In-Country' Indonesian Studies (ACICIS) program (it's a bro-sis program to assist international students during their first weeks/months in Indonesia for short course, summer course, student exchange or double degree program), so I think it'll be easy to learn! I was a host family also for AIESEC programs for three times. Each of them stay at my home for two months.

Interests

Guitar, coffee and cat. what could be better than that?

Well maybe books, literature, feminism, animal rights, gender issue, evolution, religion and beliefs, reproductive health, politics, culture and antropology, economy, philosophy, science, environment, reggae music, jazz music, rock music, culinary, food, cooking, and the list still goes on :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love action movies, documentary, cartoon, drama and satire :) I'm not really a movie buff tho', but I enjoy watching movies especially the one that leaves me in awe even when the screen finally rolls the credits

Music: Rock n' Roll, blues, alternative, metal, jazz, kroncong, gamelan, degung, reggae, yeah I love many kinds of music from sinatra to sepultura. When I was in junior high school until senior high, I love Muse--to death. Now I'm more to Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Elvis Presley, Sex Pistols and... Bob Marley haha. Yeah, I love to dance! Anyway, I play some instruments too... Piano, guitar, trumpet. I also love to sing :) Music is part of my childhood and adolescence.

Books!I love Thoreau. I think it explains everything. Oh no, not yet :p I love books written by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, Goenawan Mohamad, Ali Syariati, works by Trotsky, Sartre, and Ajahn Brahm etc. I'm pretty much leftie and in auguste rodin's position when it comes to books. But now, thanks to my high school teacher, I enjoy reading behavioral science, psychology, evolution and critical thinking books... Well, the quest for finding the true meaning of life starts in college :p

I want to learn how to play oboe and single rope technique (SRT) that is useful for vertical cave expedition... I can teach you to play piano or guitar, maybe?
