Overview
About Me
Hey there I'm Janis.
I am a curious and very open traveller. In love with hiking, kungfu and art I believe that the world is a magical place full of hidden opportunities. I can't wait to meet you!
After school I travelled to india where I lived on a self-sustainable farm in the middle of the himalayan djungle. Ever since then I am intrigued by alternative living and meeting new cultures. I just finished a 4 year university course in osteopathy and have been hiking the alta via montei liguri for two weeks on my own. Now I would love to stop by florence and get to know italy a little more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's just a great way to get to know people that you would otherwise might have never met. It's such a nice way of giving and receiving. I have often done it by just meeting people randomly but I thought I would like to try this platform that everyone keeps telling me about.
Interests
As mentioned I'm a keen hiker, also because I love nature so much. There is a reason why I always end up in the mountains with amazing, beautiful people.
- alternative medicine
- alternative lifestyles
- nature walks
- mountain hiking

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitchhiked all throgh france and found myself on a farmhouse in the mountains bordering italy where I reconnected with friends from my india travels. We started to dream of a project of self-sustainable living and it's still running two years later. They are like family when I go back there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to share knowledge on osteopathy and happy to give you an idea of what the treatment is like if you're interested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully we can share an amazing time. And I am happy to introduce you to the world of osteopathy:)
