I'm a Dutch student Journalism. I love the education and the job. Interviewing people, getting to know each time a little bit more about people and our world.

I'm now in Cape Town for three months. For my study I will work there as a freelance journalist for Dutch newspapers and magazines.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of people inviting other people to their home, without asking anything in return. It's not the 'free part' I care that much about, but I like the mentality. And I also love it when people just want to meet up. It's awesome that when you are a stranger somewhere, you've got people around you to provide you with some sociability and happiness. =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to watch series and movies. A little bit too much actually. I like movies who end unexpected, not like the normal romantic movies, where you know after the first five minutes how the movie will end. Ofcourse I love to read books as a journalist. But honestly, at the moment I'm a little bit too addicted to sit down and just watch a movie.

I love a lot of top 40 music from David Guetta, Alesso and Bingo Players. But I also like to listen to Chris Daughtry, Nickelback, Linkin Park, Good Charlotte and way more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I've done volunteer work (building a hospital) in India. That experience made a huge impact.
