About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore nature and foreign cultures including their food :)
ABOUT ME
Hi! We lived two years in Sydney and enjoyed the multicultural society there. We have travelled in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Since about a year we're back in Germany and live close to Würzburg. We love to get in touch with people from all over the world and exchange experience. We believe we are polite, friendly, honest and culturally open-minded people.
PHILOSOPHY
You can make it! You just have to try hard enough...
Be someone you would like to meet if you were someone else.
It's not just about where you go, but rather who you are with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We might have a couch to offer, depending on how we progress with setting up our apartment.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We are still beginners. We surfed one couch in Ho Chi Minh City and had a great time. It's a great way to get in touch with interesting people :)
Interests
Nature, foreign cultures, all sorts of exotic food, travelling the world

Music, Movies, and Books
Jan has a slight preference for electronic music. Alwina is a big fan of Bon Jovi and lately developed some interest into Kpop, but having said this we are very flexible when it comes to music. We are no big fans of psycho horror movies, but we're fine with pretty much every other genre. We watched all episodes of Breaking Bad and followed NCIS for a while. Lately we're more into watching short Youtube videos. Channels we like to follow are Eat Your Kimchi, Scishow, GMM.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Sydney and meeting people from all over the world there. Travelling the Outback in a 4WD. A self-guided tour through a glow worm cave and a cave stream in New Zealand.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share some experience with living in Australia and traveling around for 6 months (and of course living in Germany).
Some advise how to make our CS profile more attractive might be helpful ;)
