About Me
My Name is Janko and I‘m studying Geography and English in Freiburg to become a teacher. I love doing all kind of sports and spending time with friends and family. At the moment I enjoy bike rides in the Black Forest and wonderful south of Germany. I‘m very new on Couchsurfing, but I always enjoy getting in contact with new people and cultures, so I thought I just try it out. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I have a pretty long period of lecture free time this summer I‘ve decided to spend some time abroad and make a little tour through western Europe. Maybe it even helps to improve my english skills a little. I‘d really enjoy getting in contact with a lot of nice people that like to share their experiences and stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
I‘d say my music taste is strongly influenced by Freiburg, so I mostly listen to german Indie. The Album I can always listen to is „Rumours“ by Fleetwood Mac.
The films I never get tired of are Forrest Gump, Interstellar, The Big Lebowski and probably Mama Mia! When winter begins I also enjoy watching the Lord of the Ring movies. :)
Unfortunately I am a very inconsistent reader…When I read I really want to dig in the plot and in everyday life I always lose focus, because so many things are stuck in my head. Anyway I have a favorite book which is probably „The Book Thief“ by Markus Zusak.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The best thing I can share is probably my skill of speaking German as a mother tongue, so if you want to improve your language skills to learn some basics I‘d be very happy to talk with you!
Furthermore I love playing boardgames or cardgames and love sharing some of them ;)
