Hi,
I'm Jan Luca from the "little" town of Cologne, somewhere in western Germany. Maybe you have heard about it ;) Altough I really like my hometown, I'd like to see more of the world. I want to visit new countries and cities and i want to meet cool people. I believe you could be one of them.

I really enjoy good talks while sitting at the park with a cold beer and a good view of the sunset. But also at any other location, time or with another drink.

If I'm staying at your place you don't need to be my tourguide. Anyway it would be really nice if you could tell me about your favourite places nearby or must sees not everyone knows.

I live a mostly vegetarian lifestyle. I like vintage clothing and musik festivals. I enjoy sitting at a bar in the evening. From time to time I also like to go to the club or a techno rave.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For meeting new people from all around the world and learning about new cultures. For get to know the places I go, from a different angle than usual.
And also to be able to travel on a budget

Also one day, when i have my own flat, I want to host myself. To meet all kinds of people visiting the place where I live and show them around if they want. And of course to give something back to the CS community

I listen to much music, going from the good old stuff like Dire Straits, Eagles, U2 over jazz, Reggae, Funk and Folk to german Indie (Pop) like Leoniden, Giant Rooks or Von Wegen Lisbeth.

I wasn't reading very much the last few years, but I started again beginning with "the girl on the train".
