Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to have the possibility to get to know other people from other places and different cultures because I've always been interested in different traditions and languages, anything foreign.
It's always nice to share dreams and ideas, especially when the one you share them with isn't from the same place as you, so you always learn something new and interesting.
And it's much more interesting to experience a city/country with a local who can show you different and special places you wouldn't find as a normal tourist. And I hope I can be that local for people who travel to Stuttgart
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had my first couchsurfing experience in Amsterdam in 2013 and it was great!

Music, Movies, and Books
too many!
But some of my favourite movies are:
Into the Wild, Forrest Gump, Eat Pray Love, The secret life of Walter Mitty and The fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain.
And I totally love Indie and acoustic music, I'm a big fan of Jack Johnson's summer songs and when I go out I also like Clubs with electro music.
Recently I (sadly) don't have much time to read, but some of my favourite books are:
Homo faber, the little prince, the alchimist, On the road and at the moment I'm totally into reading mindful books like "The Power Of Now" by Eckart Tolle
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Egypt I made a Nile Cruise and we visited the Karnak temple. As we walked through the temple I saw something on a column that blew my mind. Above the egyptian hieroglyphes was something written in roman letters. Some romans must have written them when they found the temple. It was so impressive to see two historical decades putted on one thing and it was so fascinating to know that humans made that such a long time ago.
Actually everything I saw on my 3 months South America Backpacking trip was an absolute highlight!
The Iguassu waterfalls in Brasil, The city of tango (Buenos Aires) in Argentina, doing a wine-bycicle-tour in Mendoza in Argentina, being at a beach in Uruguay where a hand made of sand exists, the overwhelming Atacama desert in Chile, experiencing where "heaven and earth meets" at the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, hiking Macchu Picchu in Peru etc.
such an unforgettable time!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach german and give a little guitar session :P
And I would love to learn some words and phrases in the language of the host and it would be soooo amazing, if my host could tell me which meals are typical for his/her country, because I love trying local and typical food of other countries :)
