About Me

I try to simplify life, carry the less to learn the most. I love traveling, meeting different people, experiencing different cultures.
As the years pass by I feel setting me free of materialists concepts, I want to get closer to Nature, to meet well-meaning people, help those who really needs it, build up projects to make this world better to live.
My work is quite complex, but it makes me get into the Forest from time to time, sometimes it leads me to dream that I'm going to find the cure for some relevant disease. But in the end I'm just thankful for all I experienced until now ...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last year I traveled to South Brazil and rent a room in a guest house in Florianópolis and it came that the guy who host me was also Ambassador of Couchsurfing Brasil. It's being a long time I'm not paying for hotels during my trips, but I confess I was a bit scared about the possibility of couchsurfing with no reference. After a nice talking, Raony finally convinced me how it would be nice to be part of this group. I have a simple house, but I have a nice and confortable couch, an open heart and hot coffee waiting to be served with a nice conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't say a have a favorite style cause it depends on my mood, I can listen to AC/DC or Caetano Veloso. But Kashmir from Led Zeppelin is the music that better defines me 'oh let the Sun beats down upon my face, stars to fill my dream...'

Book: Sophie's World (Jostein Gaarder), When Nietzsche Wept (Irvin Yalom)

Movie: I love Miyazaki :-D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm proud of changing completely my life and abandon my comfort zone to look for a dream, I've already passed the 30's when decided following my PhD. But back in time, the child I was once is now proud of the adult I became, I always dreamed on being a scientist but I've married too young and my husband did not allow me to continue my career. I trekking, I parachute, I bungee jump, I did lots of nice and crazy things, the most difficult and that required lots of courage was to porsue my dream.
