I'd love to meet some like-minded people during my travels and maybe stay with them to really get a feel for the local life wherever I am. The people you meet during your travels are usually what you remember the most!

I love how learning a foreign language opens up a whole new world for you and how you can meet and connect with all these people you could not have talked to if you hadn't learnt that language. I love travelling, especially in nature (hiking etc.) but I love visiting beautiful cities as well!
