I would describe myself as a really curious woman who likes to learn and to find out new things. Depending on the situation and day, I like having deep conversations, doing sports, reading or just having fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I normally don't make big plans when I want to visit a new place because I just want to experience something new. So in my opinion, it's a great chance to live with natives who can show you their favorite places and you get to know the area from a total different view than a normal tourist would. Also, you can make new friends and maybe share some of your culture with them.

Interests

I love travelling, learning new languages and getting to know new cultures. I also play tennis and from time to time I like painting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books from Nicholas Sparks .. really cheesy, but I just love his stories and they are situated in North Carolina which is the state I lived in. I'm not really picky when it comes to music or movies. But I'm a great fan of US country music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived with an American family in North Carolina when I was 16/17 and went to High school there. I was also living with a Spanish family in Andalusia as an Au-Pair and with a different family in Ibiza. I absolutely loved all of these three experiences! I hope many other amazing things will follow.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to help with German or English and I appreciate everyone who wants to help me with French. Or talk to me in Spanish because I don't have a lot of opportunities to do that. I would say I am also pretty good at baking cupcakes and fancy cakes.

I live in a flat in the north of Germany. The town is super small, but still has some nice places and a beautiful river to offer.
