Well ,here we go :
I was named Janneke and born and raised on a farm which was situated 3 kilometers from a little village.
We had no electricity ,curring water or gas and our road was not made of asphalt until I was 12 .
This and more made that I am practising mij life ,as far as it goes ,on an independant road.
I am still living in the neighbourhood ,that is very near to the waddensea , there is a lot of space here and it is not densely crowded.
I live at the edge of my place and we have a Big garden and meadow and more .
I am growing mij own food for a great deal ,and I don,t eat meat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan a bikingtrip in germany and I like a lot to really meet and exchange with new people ,other ideas lifeways and so on.
Make my horison more wide is always welcome.
Hotels or whatsever never were my cup of tea ,to formel and I never really had a big purse .
I like more the idea of exchange things .
Also I travel alone on my bike and then it can be nice to have a talk afterwards.
Not realy necessary ,but welcome . Being in nature in the daytime and a social thing in the evening is a good combi, for me.

Interests

Good Books and Good Talks .

Trees ,flowers and stones are special to me.
Being creative with natural stuff ,like wool , I surely like Colours ,they give me a lot .
Art is meaning a lot to me.

I just read Russel Shorto : Amsterdam and I am now reading Elizabeth Gilbert :The signature of all things.
I have many herb books .
Classical music is my favorite ,but pop and jazz and all kinds of modern can be good to for my ears.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 18 I biked to France on my own.
I say this now because again I ,ll go on my ownbiking tour in germany to meet my son in freiburg
