I'm a 25 y/o med student from the Netherlands, finishing up the last months of my study. I use every change I get to go abroad, and as a result I worked in several African hospitals and recently did a 6 months research elective in Adelaide, Australia. A little bit more about me: after long days in the hospital, I'd like to play volleybal, have some beers with friends or just wrap myself in a blanket and watch some Netflix/read a good book. I'm an open, easy-going person who loves to share stories and meet new people. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on this website for many reasons- the main one being to see a town/city/country in the company of someone who actually lives there and can help me experience the true culture and learn about it. I have no interest in fancy hotels or western tourism, I'm happy with any accommodation I may be lucky enough to find!

White water rafting in het Zambezi river (at the Victoria Falls) at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, got some massive adrenaline shocks during several flips..
