Présentation
À propos de moi
Hi to whoever is reading! Nice to meet you :)
My name is Jannel and I like parmigiana, taking pictures and dogs.
Even though I have a Jewish name, I am Filipina and I was born and raised in Italy. How wholesome is that?
I am 23 years old and I reaaally really love music: we can share our favorite music genres if we meet!
Right now I am listening to "Redbone" by Childish Gambino, one of my top 5 songs ★
Anyway, I am a very open-minded person as I like to meet new people and discover new cultures and traditions. I specially like to know people and their quirks, I find it both funny and cute: I believe we're all so diverse and unique and I am not talking about our race and origin but us as individuals!
At the moment I am in Nevers, France, as a volunteer of an European Project. I am willing to visit as many french cities as I can! And eat as many cheese with wine as well heh.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Even though I define myself open-minded, at first I am little shy and I need some time to open up! Gotta be straight up honest with that; but trust me, I am a good listener and I'd like to know you :)
That's why I am here on Couchsurfing, I want to be more confident about myself while meeting new people and learn about their city and lifestyle.
As I said in the description, I am currently volunteering in France and I would really love to improve both my French and English so please feel free to correct me anytime.
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I don't have a favorite music genre, I listen to music based on my mood but currently I really enjoy Childish Gambino's and joji's albums. If you have any song to recommend me please do so! I am interested.
My favorite movies are The Pursuit of Happyness, Issi & Ossi and Ghibli movies.
My favorite books of all time are the spanish novel "Andanzas del impresor Zollinger" by Pablo D'Ors and "Historia de una gaviota y del gato que le enseñó a volar" by Luis Sepúlveda.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Maybe it's not that incredible but as an ambivert and almost shy girl it is, in my opinion ahaha
Long story short, I once met on the train this American guy on my way home. We started chatting and since we got along so well I invited him to visit the city together! I neve did something like that before with a stranger, but I am glad I had the guts to do it because I had a really great time with them and I'd like to experience something similiar once again. We're still on touch and sometimes we share eachother funny memes and videos.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I don't know what to teach you beside a good carbonara recipe, but I am 100% open to learn something new everytime I can!
