What I like to do:
- cooking: especially trying out new dishes from different countries. When I visit a country, I always make the best dish I had in this country and make my friends try the dish.
- hang out with friends. I like it when you hang out and nothing special happens but you still feel like it was so much fun. But hey, that doesn't mean I don't like to go for a concert, some drinks or other random activities ;)
- I can also enjoy some me-time: watching a movie (I'm trying to finish the 100 best cultmovies of all times), reading a good book, searching for some new music,...

PHILOSOPHY
The most interesting thing about a postage stamp is the persistence with which it sticks to its job.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started my couchsurfing profile because I wanted to host some people in my student city Ghent. Unfortunately, I got too busy with my studies to host. I totally forgot about couchsurfing until I went to India.
For example, we had a great houseparty in Kochi with 'doctor love'. The same guy had a deep conversation with me the next day on women rights in India. In Dehli, we went to our first nightclub in India, as well as our first Indian wedding. In Calcutta, I stayed with A guy named Pankaj for three days. I loved meeting all the hosts who all had their own personality to contribute to your journey. This way, you learn new things, go for things you would never think about doing on your own...

After a year in Bénin (west-africa) where I did not get any couchsurfing requests. Rigth now, I'm back in Belgium with no couch surfing space :(

Interests

I love cruising around the internet and searching for new music, unknown artists. Then I try to play it on my guitar.
