I am a 23 year old student of philosophy, currently living in Berlin. I am a shy but not reserved person, who is really interested in meeting new people and discovering new places. If I should describe myself in three adjectives, they would probably be tidy, caring and adventurous.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my flatmates host since two years other couchsurfers, so we already had a lot of guests. I'm very interested getting different perspectives and ways of living. So couchsurfing is for me a way to meet new people, get connected, and change your view of living.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to hear progressive rock and metal, but i'll also sing to beyonce and spice girls. I'll cover up my bad lyrics with an even worser voice!
My favourite author is Max Frisch. I love Stiller and Homo Faber. I also like James Baldwin and Paul Beatty, who is extremely funny and sarcastic.
I watch a lot of series of different genres, mostly anime or true crime or series like GoT or Sherlock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was travelling for 3 months in China. I travelled with a friend for the first 2 weeks and we've been to a place called Yangshuo. It was a beautiful landscape with small but steep hills. We've did a biking tour, got stucked, lost track,but finally ended in a cave bathing and relaxing. I didn't know it back then, but this day should be exemplary for the rest of the trip. Always switching plans, ending up anywhere else, but always doing the best of it! I hope that most of my trips could be like this!

I'm always interested in learning new stuff. It doesn't matter, which subject.
I can offer some insights in philosophy, even if haven't found my own position in most of the debates. I can teach some German or a little bit chinese.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be a quiet person, but I'm deeply interested in talking to my hosts, get to know them. Exchange stories or start discussions of different subjects. I can cook a little bit (I live the motto: four dishes are enough, but these ones you should master).
