Hi, I am Jannik. I am 20 years old. After I graduated High school I worked for some time as a waiter and later in a marketing agency. When I had enough money together, I decided to travel around the world. This is what I am doing right now.
In my freetime I love to do sports, especially bodyweight training is big passion of mine. One goal I have is to learn how to hold a handstand, but it is not easy haha
Besides that I also enjoy playing chess and played multiple tournaments in the past.
I love being in the nature. It just feels very natural to be sorounded by nothing else besides plants and animals, which is also one of the reasons why I became a vegetarian.
In the future I want to work remotely as a video editor and keep on travelling while working.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get to know new people and nations. The big advantage of Couchsurfing is, that you experience the real way of life at one place and don´t just see the big touristic highlights. I enjoy getting to know new people and their way of life. It always feels great to share some travelling stories and to make friends with local people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a lot of different music. For partying I like techno the most, while working out I enjoy listening to stuff like Linking Park and if I am just driving around I also enjoy relaxed pop music.
I am not a big movie guy but I like Horror and Comedy movies.
When it comes to books I most of the time read educational books about topics like investing, sleep or communication.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived 10 days together with Buddhist monks at a monastery. This was a real unique experience haha
