With 17 I went on an exchange in Brasil, which was the first time for me to really "be on my own" and experience an alien culture and befriend people with very different ways of life than I was used to. It was an amazing time. The furthest and most challenging trip I ever did was during an internship in North-West India, it was the heaviest culture-shock of my life but well worth it, India is beautiful and fascinating.
