About Me

Hey guys, I'm Jannik, 25, from Germany. I travel for almost a year now, just finished my bachelor in Sociology and Ethnology. So now I started my next life chapter with the working holiday in Canada.
I'm interested in all kinds of stuff, but espacially in the different ways of life in this world. I love meeting new people from all over the planet and share some time with them. Apart from that I love sports, I could watch every single sport and would find something that would fascinate me.
I love to go hiking in the pure wilderness and enjoy the breathtaking scenery mother nature offers us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favourite parts traveling is to explore the varieties and similarities of people around the globe. Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to really experience the authentic ways of life you would miss out if you would just stay in hostels.

Interests

I enjoy being around people and to just have a good time together. Also I love being outdoor in the wilderness.
I played soccer the most time of my life, love to go swimming in a lake or in the ocean and am fascinated by adrenaline sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard decision, but if I had to choose, I would pick "A summer in the countryside" (German: Ein Sommer auf dem Lande). A french movie from 1999, about the importance of personal freedom and the meaning of friendship. Plus, I love all kinds of fantasy movies, such as Lord of the rings or the Game of thrones series.

For music I go with german and english hip hop, but actually I'm listening to every kind of genre some times.

The best books are definetly the Harry Potter series!
