About Me
***CURRENTLY NOT IN HELSINKI***
I'm a Finnish student of philosophy and I have lived in Helsinki for some years now. What I like to do is hang around in the nature, immerse myself frequently in literature, visual arts, film and science in general and sleep later than most.
I guess I am half thinker and half doer. I often find myself sitting and conversing on just about any topic, but on the other hand, I really enjoy letting go of prejudice to do something new, running around seeing places and most importantly getting to know other inhabitants of this planet.
Right now I'm feeling Game of Thrones, walks around the city gardens, the plants on my windowsill and dry cider.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I'm very curious to try new ways of accomodation when travelling! In the past I have been a user of airbnb and hostels but this is way more exciting. I don't travel like crazy but when I do travel, I don't want to just visit a place for it's food, shops and geography - people are the main reason.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music is hard to define in precise terms, as it often happens. I like new Finnish jazz, indie rock and pop, some 80's rock and Rihanna, to name something.
My favourite books would probably include Swed Thursday, Infinite Jest, Fear of Flying and Ferrante's Neapolitan series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Move to the woods into a cottage and live there for a few months. Doing this at this very moment actually.
Teach, Learn, Share
In principle, there is nothing I wouldn't share. I have noticed I find great pleasure in showing my world to newcomers and letting them feel at home there, even if it's just for a day or so.
