Hey there,
I am Jannis. I am 19 years old and currently studying law after my year abroad in China as an exchange student.
I really enjoy music, I play the saxophone, back in China in my school’s orchestra, the recorder and a little piano.
Also I sang in choirs for quite some time but not at the moment.
Before starting my academic career I also did some sports, I danced and I still really like to play badminton. But nowadays I pursue both on a very casual level.
I really love food of any sort and to discover the culture behind it. And chinese tea culture, I should say. Otherwise, I am really into politics, sociology, history and linguistics. To be honest, there are few things, I am not interested in.
I am very open, interested to get to know new people and eager to learn something new.

I really enjoy staying with new people and to build relationships with them. Whenever I meet someone new, I get new perspectives onto life. I want to understand peoples personalities and how they think.

My favorite musician ever is Georg Friedrich Händel, but I also enjoy listening to jazz, blues, pop, even industrial metal on some occasions.
Movie wise I would pick Loriot, a German comedian of sorts as my favorite filmmaker. But I enjoy comedy in general and action movies.
My favorite series is Rick and Morty.
My favorite book series is Dr. Siri by Colin Cotteril.
I also really enjoy podcasts (like reaaallly enjoy good podcasts)
