About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life as much as I could!

ABOUT ME

ADVENTUROUS, LOVE ART, OUTGOING, CARING, HONEST, SIMPLE, CURIOUS, PASSIONATE, CREATIVE, AND WORLDLY

About my boy friend - Yuanfeng

Currently a PHD student in Shanghai University - Chinese history. Qigong/Taichi Teacher.

I am very healthy and fit non-smoker, non-drug user, social-drinker. Interested in personal growth, gaining a better understanding of myself and the world around me. I try to live life to its fullest, thrive on meeting people, traveling and experiencing new cultures.

Because of the people I meet and the work I have, I felt committed to introducing the richness and variety of the Chinese culture: its art, history, cuisine, customs, traditions and language.

Am involved in a number of activities here in Shanghai - and run my own tour company(http://www.shanghaipathways.com), it is known as one of the best local tour provider in Shanghai by CNNgo, Time Out and Tripadvisor. In addition to designing and hosting various tours and events, I am a business consultant and artist. I also spends time researching Chinese history, learn Chinese Tea Art and heritage traditions.

PHILOSOPHY

~"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

~"Life is a path...up and down...leave your footprint on the world so people will know you have been here and made it just a little bit brighter! At the same time enjoy and don't forget to smell the roses along your journey."

~"Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny."

I think we should all strive to make a contribution that even in some small way changes things for the better. It would suck to have lived and never left a single impression on the people we have met.

a lot of things :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Could teach about Chinese tea, food, cooking, history, art, culture, painting, calligraphy.

I can share my point of view on pretty much everything, this is already a good start :)

Following is some interesting info that I wanna share about in Shanghai, you can just google out their website:

Shanghai Expatriate Association - The SEA is a non-profit, multi-national, member-based organization. It was established to provide a social and cultural network for expats and their families in Shanghai, and is one of the largest groups of its kind in China. I am working with them for various day trip events for over 4 years. I felt so lucky to have met so many great people from there.

Community Center Shanghai - Information on daily living in Shanghai.

ExpatWomen.com- a comprehensive global website helping women overseas.

Expatriate Professional Women's Society - EPWS is an informal, non-profit, membership-based group established to provide a professional, social and cultural network for expatriate working women.

Shanghai Expat - this site is invaluable for answering the many questions newcomers to Shanghai have. For residents the site offers current events and an interesting discussion forum that tries its best to stay on the topic (unlike some forums)

Shanghai Guide - provides information to newcomers and residents alike.

Shanghai Living - Shanghai Family Magazine is your source for relevant, timely information and support as an expatriate living in Shanghai.

That's Shanghai - the very latest news on art and entertainment, dining, drinking, shopping, international and local travel, music and media. As well as the website they issue a monthly English language magazine found in most hotels, bars and serviced apartments. Other cities, restaurant & bars, education and fitness guides available.

The Shanghai Daily - Shanghai's local English language newspaper. Available for home delivery.
