About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Travelled for 2009 and lived in Melbourne in 2010. Currently a bit career focused but trying to dot in travel here and there. I am a person who loves good music, talking to passionate and interesting people, enjoying a wine or beer in the sun, laughing till I cry, and well .... the rest you can decide for yourself :)

PHILOSOPHY

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the trouble-makers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of the rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them, because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as crazy ones. We see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones that do”
Jack Kerouac

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of mobster movies and a softy for animate films as well as directors such as Tarantino and the Cohen Brothers. Also highly into my Planet Earth DVDs and basically anything of David Attenborough.

For music - well I like a lot and there is so much out there that I love hearing new stuff. My new listens for this month are the Parov Stelar Band and Kings of Convenience. But the list of choices would look like this...Sigur Ros,The Black Keys, Bon Iver, the Postal Service, Elbow, Gomez, Alice Russell, Albert J Hammond, the Shins, Modest Mouse, Frank Zappa, Fugazi, Spoon, Block Party, the Foals, Fleet Foxes, Florence and the Machine, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Cold War Kids, Cinematic Orchestra, Connan and the Mockasins, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Dandy Warhols, the Brain Jonestown Massacre, Santogold, Peaches, Cold Cut, Cornerstown Roots, Fat Freddys Drop, Minuit, the Black Seeds, Ginger Brown, Kora, Pendulum, Andy C, DJ Vadim, DJ Marky, Black Sun Empire, DJ Shadow, Klute, Ladyhawke, John Butler Trio, Hot Chip, Jose Gonzalez, MGMT, Pacific Heights, Mogwai, Family Cactus, Of Montreal, Belle and Sebastian, Shapeshifter, High contrast, London Elektricity, Chase n Status, Tapes and Tapes, Radiohead, The Decemberists, Simon and Garfunkel, the Roots, the Ruby Suns, the New Pornographers, An Emerald City, Beruit, Little Bushman, the Quantic Soul Orchestra, TV on the Radio, UNKLE, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs...the list goes on...

Books - well after one long law degree I have only just started getting back into this. So suggestions are welcome, particularly on good Buddhism books as it is something I am wanting to know more about since meeting some interesting people on my travels.
