ABOUT ME

My head is very often extremely chaotic and confused.
I can be quite strongheaded, but I like good discussions.
I strongly believe in the beneficial effect of fantasy and childlike wonderment and curiosity.
Find it very important to be able to put things in perspective and be amiable towards other people.

For the moment I'm an educator at a boarding school, which is a great combination of my diplomas. Like this very much, hope to stay here for a while...
Because I work at evenings and during night, I'm not able to host outside summer. But I'm always happy to meet up and show you around Gent!
This summer I won't be able to host, because I will be travelling around New Zeeland (yay)

PHILOSOPHY

I have nothing but good intentions and while I live my life the way I think best for myself and everything and everyone around me, I hope every other person tries his best in his own best thinkable way.

I think this is a great way of travelling and not just being a tourist.
Meeting locals, getting to know and join the everyday flow and get inside information is still the main reason why I want to couchsurf.

In music, there is so much to like and I love to learn and discover more.
I'm just not really into the hardrocky stuff.

Movies I adore. I love to be swept away by the classics and dream myself as Audrey being courted by Gregory.
I go to the cinema often and like watching films at home.

In books I travel and have great adventures. I love to lose myself in a story. I like to read Scandinavian thrillers/detectives, Victorian-eera situated novels, some well written children books and contemporary novels.
I read in Dutch as well as in English. Recently I tried French. Trying to maintain my languages.
