ABOUT ME

I'm a radio reporter/hitch hiking tramp/freelance writer. Like all people my age I enjoy a good party, I am open to new things and I enjoy life as much as possible. My life's passion is writing about all sorts of stuff, which I do in my spare time. Daily I work at Radio Wnet where I'm a journalist and have my own Saturday podcast about low-budget travels. I'm passionate about philosophy, literature, music and travel. Being on the road lets me turn my head away from daily problems.

- The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.

I'm here, because I travel a lot, and though I try to make it on my own and not involve other people, sometimes it is nice to be able to turn to someone for help and be able to return the favor.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

- A 9000km long journey around Europe with my best friend, with nothing else but a small backpack, 32 days and 180 euros for the whole trip. I met great people, seen amazing places and survived what is now the vacation of my life.

- 2 weeks / 100euros / 8000km hitch-hiking on my own without destination around Europe, just trying to meet new people. Best story: one day I got a lift for 600km to Barcelona. After leaving this city the next day, 300km further in a different direction, I met the same guy from the day before and he took me another 700km. He turned out to be a soul mate!
