I am a traveler and photographer. Studied public relations and was a D-1 athlete in college in XC and Track. My parents raised me to be independent and open-minded. In 2010, I started to learn and master my photography hobby. Today, I work as a professional and enjoy shooting portraits (my website is www.jansennowell.com). I usually take long summers off from shooting to travel and explore in my Ram Promaster hi-roof campervan.

Interests

Learning new things is huge for me. Having freedom to explore. I also like mastering things. Interested in photography, aviation, music (play drums), outdoor activities like sailing and hammocking as well as hunting and fishing, self propelled power sports, laughing, not taking life too seriously, living life to the fullest without regrets. Also love a drink and a cigar from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent each summer at age 16, 17, and 18 living and training (running) at elevation in Santa Fe, NM and Denver, CO where I was introduced to mountain climbing and alpine climbing. I really liked the challenge of climbing 14ers and went on to climb two of the tallest peaks in contiguous USA, Mt. Whitney and Mt. Elbert. Since then, it's been my mission to never say, "I have always wanted to do that," but rather be a person that takes action and just goes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to learn a little bit about a lot of things. I have lots of hobbies but I am really into photography, business and traveling and can share my experience with those. I’m interested in aviation and have a full flight simulator that I learned to fly planes as well as minored in aviation.
