ABOUT ME

Hi there, my name is Jansen and I'm currently an English teacher on the JET (Japanese Exchange & Teaching) Program living in Naruto, Tokushima, Japan. One of my biggest passions is traveling. I can't get enough of it. I've studied abroad both in Germany (2 years) and South Korea (4 months I've also been fortunate enough to have traveled to over 30 countries over the past decade.

While living in Europe, I did my fair share of couch surfing so I would like to return the favor to anyone interested in visiting me here in Japan. I would be happy to show you around. I don't have a car, but I do live right across from a train station so it's quite convenient. Anyway, if you'll be in my neck of the woods feel free to write me a message and I'll let you know if my place is available.

Interests

My favorite thing to do by far is travel and experience new cultures. I studied last year in South Korea and am currently studying this year in Germany. I love learning languages, which is why I am a German studies major at University. I also am very interested in photography and film-making. My favorite hobby is water skiing and I also love all types of sports.
