I'm new to the area, staying out with coworkers in Walnut Creek while we attempt to create a our dream company, a social business that works with non profits in developing countries to support business development there and inspire ethical shopping here. Basically means working our asses off and barely having a social life or two dimes to rub together, but we love what we're doing AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS RIGHT? Have been driving Lyft in the city to orient myself and, of course, make some cash, and it's been amazing. Feeling so much love for the area already and the great vibes of its residents. Originally from good ol' Virginia, but spent the last two years living abroad--Vietnam, Thailand, Australia--now I'm stoked to be back in the States and doing some California exploring!
