Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a nice community, no better and easier way to connect with other travellers. Its kind of hitch-hiking. You give a hand and one day u get a hand back.
I got heaps of nice experiences and I'm still in contact with the most people i met.
I met one guy in 2010 on my way to Beijing and we caught up 4 years later again. Also another friend I met randomly on the top of the Mont-Royal in Montreal 2012. I just asked him if he could take a picture of my friend and me. While talking the picture we figured out that we both were on CS and we went out for drinks that eve. Long story short. We kept contact and I met him last week after over 3 years again in Brisbane/Australia. What a blast! I love it and he randomly became roommate in queens town/newzealand of a girl I met in Canada.

- Close encounter with a grizzly bear

My biggest roadtrip so far (in 2012)
Calgary - Lethbridge - Osoyoos - Vancouver - Vancouver Island - Prince George - Stewart/Hyder (Alaska) - Whitehorse - Dawson City - Fairbanks/Alaska - Deneli National Park and back!!! Amazing time and 11.000 miles in 9 weeks

- I've seen a wolf fishing salmon in Alaska.

- Killer wales chasing Dolphins in Kaikoura/NZ
