Overview
About Me
I study both medicine (at Warsaw Medical University) and biomedical engineering (at Warsaw University of Technology), currently living in Warsaw, Poland. I love visiting little local markets, tasting foreign cuisine and traveling with a bike. When traveling, I prefer much more to get the vibe of a place, its culture and (especially) how the locals live rather than visiting touristic monuments or getting rest in some luxurious hotels.
Oh! And I'm also an urban beekeeper! And I love learning languages! And I have a nice cat!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After a month-long hitchhiking trip to France and Spain during the break between High School and University with my girlfriend I'm really fascinated with low-budget travelling with as little luggage as possible. I would really love to travel and meet real people and eat authentic local food rather than seeing crowded touristic spots. I also would like to meet people from around the world travelling visiting Warsaw and show them the city insides :-) I'm really open for new international friendships :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
It's really hard to write shortly about everything we find beautiful, however...
My two most beloved movies are Amelie from Montmartre and Princess Mononoke <3
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The summer after finishing High School me and me girlfriend went for a journey. We took a ride with some friends riding to France for vacation and that's how we got to Champagne region where we worked for a week during "les vendanges" ie. wine grapes collecting for making original French champagne. Then, after getting paid, during the next 3 weeks we hitchhiked over 1000 kilometers south and west towards Spain visiting cities like Troyes, Lyon, Avignon, Gordes and Barcelona sleeping in a tent, at friends' houses or at cheap hostels. After that we managed to get to Priorat, Catalonia (Spain) and then catch other group of friends who were returning from vacation in Portugal to Poland. The whole transportation cost as only 36 euros. We actually even returned with more money than when leaving.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can be a great partner for board games or some calm talk about food and travel
I can also show you how to make original Polish pierogies (professional top secret knowledge!) ( ͡ᵔ ͜ʖ ͡ᵔ )
