Hello! My name is Jantje, I'm from Germany and I love to travel and to learn more about different cultures. I consider myself a warm, friendly, open-minded person who enjoys to be active and be outside in the nature.

After I graduated from high school, I did work and travel in Europe. I was in Spain, Portugal, Austria and Italy and had an amazing time. I enjoyed it so much, that I thought about ways to continue travelling. So I compare my two passions kitesurfing and traveling together. Back in Germany I worked the whole summer as a kitesurfing instructor and did the same here in New Zealand.

For me Couchsurfing is an amazing platform, because it gives me the opportunity to meet people from different countries and I to explore new places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could help you with gardening, painting and different DIY projects. I really like to cook or I could clean up your home. During my school time I had two babysitting jobs. So if you have kids, than I could look after them. Besides from that I am also good with animals. I already took care of dogs, cats, chickens and goats.
My mother language is German and I speak English fluent, so I could help you to improve your skills in this languages.
