I think that may be one of the toughest questions of humankind.
Well, long story short: I like to live the life as it comes to me, trying to be happy for what you have, rather than expecting to much.
Trying new stuff and stepping out of my comfort zone are essential to me, for this is the only way to find the things you are looking for, whatever it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just think it is a fun way to travel, because there is no better way to explore a new place, than with people, who actually live there.
I also believe, that all you have is worthless, unless you share it with someone, so I always try to host, when possible. Besides meeting the most awesome people and learning about different cultures, lifestyles and so on. I made some really good friends with former hosts and surfers.
Okay, and to be honest: I just can't bring up motivation to hold my flat clean, if there isn't anyone going to visit me 😀

Interests

Well, I got some of them, I'm actually not picky when it comes to interests.
But I guess you wanna know, what I do, to enjoy my freetime right?

Well, I'm a med student, so as you might guess I'm all about learning 24/7...

Nahhhh, just kidding actually I spend most of my time going out with friends, doing stuff, socializing in general.
I love to be in the kitchen, cooking, baking, that kind of stuff.
But sometimes I'm totally fine with just sitting around somewhere, enjoying the beauty of the moment and letting my thoughts flow.

In my holidays I'm an enthusiastic Scuba Diver, but there is nothing over an adventurous travelling-holiday.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music... Actually I like nearly every kind of music, as long as you don't bother me with traditional German music, we'll be good music-buddys =D

I like movies with some depths in them, and without to much digital effects. It's actually important, that they tell a good story and let you slide into their world rather than impressing you with a lot of fancy bullshit. All time favourite movies would be (besides the usual) K-PAX, Trainspotting and the Pianist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking and couchsurfing in eastern Europe for 3 weeks without any plan, where to go next, just giving the direction by standing at the one or the other side of the road, meeting the most beautifully open-minded and helpful people in my Life.

Hiking up Adam's Peak, Sri Lanka in the middle of the night to see the beautiful sunrise.
