Hi, I'm Janus and my Chinese name is Zhou Jing. I got a nickname called "Taipo"(great grandmother in English) because I took part in the taiji race on behalf of my high school in jiangsu province.Now I am junior in Southeast University, majoring in clinical medical professional. Last November,I launched a platform called '30 Day Change Heplful Platform', aims to help more people to find a better self.In the buddhist dojo I have volunteered for a long time.I went to Buddha mountain in Taiwan. Like to get along with children, so I volunteered as a teacher of children aging from 5 to 12 for two years in the buddhist rite.Now I'm the host of Global One Salon in Nanjing, a salon hold once a week or once every two weeks,and the three points are intellectual,emotional and experiential. Besides,I'm following my tutor on the study of the new drugs to cure stroke, hoping to reduce the old man's pain with stroke. What's more, I'm a volunteer in Leanin Nanjing and North American Wen Yishe.My friends say that I'm a social activist with intelligence and empathy. I have been a volunteer since primary school and I wanted to be a good entrepreneur at an early age. My hobby is widespread.I love reading, traveling,calligraphy,Chinese zither and yoga.Also, I like exercise and meditation to relax myself. In addition, I'm willing to seek stimulation in the insipid life. Life gives me a lot of gifts, hope to be able to pass the beauty to more people. I'm going to attend a summer camp in Harvard and MIT from Aug 6th to Aug 23rd in Boston ,visit NGOs in NYC from Aug 25th to Aug 27th,and want to visit DC and SF.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I knew Couchsurfing from one of my friends last year.She is the organizer of Nanjing Couchsurfing group.I met a lot of interesting people on Couchsurfing and made several good friends,who bring me a lot of joy and intelligence.What's more,I learn more about Couchsurfing, an awesome platform to share rooms with others,know more people and know more about the world. I think every one is a nice book rich in content,which will open our horizon.In addition, the type of creating shared values is popular among our world.I think it's a good opportunity for us to follow the trend, learn more from the people we met and explore more about the world.

I love traveling.The world is so big,I think we should go out and see more.I have been to many places in China mainland,including Beijing,Shanghai,Hangzhou,Shaoxing, Jiaxing,Ningbo,Zhoushan,Chongqing, Zhejiang province, Sichuan province,Jiangsu province and so on.I have also been to Taiwan.I like Chinese traditional culture very much,such as Chinese zither(a traditional instrument) and calligraphy.When I'm free,I like reading,exercising,yoga and meditation to relax.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every day I'm experiencing is an amazing thing for me.

I hugged with 25 strangers in Suzhou on the first day of 2016.
I experienced a relationship with a person just knew and we are good friends now.
I climbed the Purple Mountain at night.
My friend and I came across a nice older sister at subway,she took us to eat Haidilao at midnight, told us her story and finally poured herself out.
