About Me

Let's wander off the path.

A jack of all trades! I got my M.A. in acting a few years ago and quit the Academy of Fine Arts recently.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn and feel something new.

Interests

I draw comics, play the piano, learn history and practise martial arts. I love mythology, history, various languages, sports and classic computer games.

I also learn to play the renaissance lute, sing Khoomei, twirl a staff and live healthy.

(there is also some sailing, motorboating, scuba diving, windsurfing, tennis and chess going on)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoyed Catch-22, Lolita, Cortazar, Eco, Chekhov, old myths and new comics! I dislike Master and Margarita and Crime and Punishment though. They made me wince at Russian lit for a long time. Thanks to Pushkin for reversing that.

Some time ago I'd say that anything by Tarantino, Aronofsky, Nolan, any comic-based movies, cult films, fantasy, B-movies...
But "I've seen some shit, man" and actually am not a maniac anymore. Hateful Eight sucks big time and some cult films are just boring for the most part, like the Six-String Samurai or Buffalo 66.

Music - Chopin, Liszt, Liquido, Vangelis, Irish folk, rock and chillout.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled to Firenze and Bologna for a weekend... and the unspellable volcano blew up. I had to sleep at the airport for a week, it was awesome, someone tried to rob me. Later, back home I was running around on factory roofs while being chased by guards with flashlights.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk for hours about myths and archetypes, heroes of might and magic or comics. I can give advice about voice, acting or drawing. I could also teach some basic piano, guitar or self-defence tricks.
I've always wanted to learn survival skills - brewing soup from weeds or firemaking. And parkour. Oh and any foreign language or a curious musical instrument would be great.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
