About Me
Hi fellow couchsurfer!
I am Jan from Belgium. I love to travel and learning about new cultures and meeting new people. After finishing my Sociology studies at the University of Brussels I have worked several years as an academic and market research. 1,5 years ago I decided that I was time for a new challenge and I came to Australia making use of the working holiday visa. Besides doing some odd jobs I am trying to learn how to program. Other interests of mine include photography, skateboarding, arts and reading.
Some 10 years ago I hosted a few couchsurfers at my apartment in Brussels and 5 years ago I was myself a couchsurfer for the first time when I visited Japan and so far all my experiences with couchsurfing were great.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I truly belief couchsurfing is the best way to travel. It is a great way to meet locals and to learn from them about their country and culture.
