Overview
About Me
I lived abroad for the better part of the last decade (mostly in Slovenia and the US), with a little intermission in Berlin last year, but now again I am studying abroad in the Netherlands.
I could do another generic description along the lines of: doesnt like small talk (for real?!), likes to travel (what a surprise!), open minded (of course.), likes music (who doesn't?!), likes to have deep discussions (well that one is actually important to point out because I love to talk about the world, philosophy, social problems, drinking, living, phsychology, and anything else that comes to mind)
...
Lets just get to know each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined because one day I got up and decided I wanted to go swimming in the Black sea, so I packed my backpack, joined couchsurfing, went to the highway and started Hitchhiking in that direction
[spoiler: I didnt make it to the black sea but i ended up in a lot of other places meeting many amazing people, shooting with bow and arrow in the slovene countryside while drinking beer and having a pet rat sit in the pocket of my hoodie, partying on a boat in Serbia with a bunch of crazy french people, hiking up to a castle in 35°C and almost passing out, getting completly wasted on a train with serbians that i missed my stop, and many more stories ]
And since then I have been active on couchsurfing to meet new people from around the world and make friends everywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books
Nothing is better than some live Jazz in a park or some techno party in an old factory, some Reggae next to a river or some d'n'b in a basement, some indierock in a bar or some electronic music at a festival. If you love Moderat, Chinese Man, Darkside and/or the Doors you get bonus points ;)
Big fan of Kerouac, Saramago ... recent most favorite: When Nietzsche Wept by Irvin D. Yalom . But I also love Scifi novels - recent favorite: 2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 16 i went by myself to the US to live there for a year with hostfamily and visit a high school, which was a crazy experience because I went there without ever having left the continent (nor ever taking a plane to anywhere) and then I went alone to Seattle to a family I didnt know, a language I had only learned in school and a country/culture that was completly new to me.
