ABOUT ME

I love to travel and get to know new people with different ways of thinking. I don't feel homesick ever, I usually feel go-away sick and must-see-new-things sick which is why I have started being a digital nomad in 2017!

My absolute passion is ballroom dancing (standard and latin). When there's still time left to spend I also enjoy Salsa and Argentine Tango a lot.

As much as enjoy being active, I love a chillaxed evening with friends either with cocktails at a bar or with board games and video games at home.

I am a huge fan of Japanese nature, history, culture, and food! I've studied in Japan for some time and totally fell in love with everything including the Japanese language.

I meet people, I host during those times that I actually have a place I can call my own, and I surf when I want to dive into a new culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a lot in Japan, mostly with international people. Those were great experiences. I wouldn't have seen so much stuff in the cities without their guidance and help! I was thrilled even more to find the same good times with Chinese couchsurfers! I do speak some Japanese but Chinese, na ah :D. The States has been a couchsurf friendly place for me, too.

Animes ^^. My favorite author is also Japanese: Haruki Murakami. In general. love fantasy novels and 19th century female English authors.

I can't stop watching Dr. Who, and don't really know why. Fun fact: I need sb to watch it with me. It's so scary, haha! Gilmore Girls.

I like all kinds of Music. I should start with what I don't like - techno and electric. Overload for my brain.

I can teach you dancing and singing, that's for sure :D. I love to share my international experiences to make people see the world through a world traveler's eyes. I can teach you about sleep, too! I used to be a sleep scientist. And my native language German of course.
