I'm a student with my major in Media Technology and Film Production. Mostly Media Technology. My heart beats for lighting but I have a lot of fun in video and sound production as well. When I'm not studying I try to get around as much as possible. I've been traveling in Canada for a year after High School (one of the best years of my life). Over the last few month, I have been in the US for an exchange semester, which got me into Film Production. While being here I also picked up sailing as a hobby and hope to be able to keep sailing back home in Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I always loved most about Couchsurfing is the possibility to get to know a place from the side of a local. It is one thing to be in a hotel and ask TripAdvisor where to find the next best restaurants ut it is a lot more fun to go to the small bar around the corner that only locals know about.
It's also a lot of fun because most people on Couchsurfing share similar interests. We all have a love for traveling and most likely tons of stories of different places and tips on where to travel next. I just love the community.

Interests

I love both, sitting at home and chill or watch movie as well as being outside, seeing new things around you have a little bit of adrenalin. A good mix of everything helps to have a happy life

Music, Movies, and Books

It's always difficult for me to choose a favorite. My favorite type of music is probably rock and alternative rock. I love listening to Skillet. But all in all, you can find close to every type of music in my playlist.

It is difficult to choose a favorite movie. One of my most favorite movies is Dreamworks Rise of the Guardians (totally underrated if you ask me) but I could also watch movies like The Greatest Showman, Ready Player One (I loved the book and the movie was amazing), or Jumanji on repeat. There are many more including the typical classics like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and a ton of Disney and Dreamworks movies.

I grew up with the Harry Potter book and love them with all of my heart. I'm also really fond of the Percy Jackson series and single books like Ready Player One or Erebos. I also really enjoyed some of the old Sherlock Holmes stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been traveling through North America from the West Coast, to the East Coast and back to the West Coast. I was Whale Watching and Skydiving and had the pleasure of studying under great Cinematographers.
