Hi! I'm Jaque, I'm 23 years old and I just graduated in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Anthropology at UFRGS, Brazil.
For me, traveling means rediscovering yourself. By living my first extended experience abroad, doing an exchange program from the university to Spain, I was able to get to know myself better and discover new passions: exploring the unknown, developing intercultural dialogue, learning new skills.
Having recently graduated as a social scientist, developing a sensitive and reflective view of the world is essential. The exchange that exists in volunteer work is special in this sense. I always put a lot of enthusiasm and energy into everything I do, 2022 is a year in which I intend to dedicate myself especially to volunteer work and new life experiences. My purpose is to collaborate collectively on the needs found in each workplace. Meeting new people and trying new routines makes me very motivated.
I already had experience during my graduation in working with homeless people, female prisoners, women in public security, child violence and crimes against life. Works always linked to a theoretical and intellectual part. This year, through cultural exchanges, I want to develop manual skills and also develop Spanish and English.
