ABOUT ME

I am Jaque, from Sao Paulo, Brazil!

Well, I am undergrad in leisure and tourism at the University of Sao Paulo (USP)

Nowadays I work at an exchange agency to 'send' students to study languages, mainly in Europe!

I have lived some nice experiences, but also some adversities in life, but I try to live the best and to take the opportuninities that match my profile.

This was an old description, but it kinda fits yet (haha):

I'm little crazy, but very funny, all people that I met said this to me. I agree and try to be like this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is amazing. I love it. Since 2013 I participate looking for the events going on when I am in any city and also looking for warm hosts and for sure giving any tips or host for travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience with couchsurfing was in a friend's house in 2012. We were at the beach and she accepted 2 surfers in her house, and it was very interesting. I surfed in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, It was always pretty Nice. I went to some meetings in Buenos Aires, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. Always it is possible I get some couch in any city, too... hehe

Interests

I like to travel, to study, go out with friends, have a lot of fun with friends, meet new people from everywhere anywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like rock and roll: Doors, Pink Floyd, The Who. Now I used to listen to Manu Chao, Stromae, Onda Vaga, La Rue Ketanou, and brazilian music, too! :D
I like drama and comedy movies and i like to read bios and romances.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking/hitchhiking South America: From the middle of Colombia until São Paulo, I made it in 3 months and passed through Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in 2016! :D

In 2021, 2022 and 2023 I participate in some rainbow gatherings in Brazil, very fulfilling and rich experience with alternative people from a lot of countries, with some great point of views and lifestyle, such as nomadism, anarchism, veganism, and so much more! I've been passed about 20 days without eletricity, piped water, meat, sugar, living on a tent, without fridge, oven etc just with a lot of 'crazy' people singing all day long, doing some activities such as yoga, cooking, gardening, partyingm talking, to enriching myself, and so much more!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach portuguese, spanish and english, make some artesanal dreamcatcher, foods and I am really into learn through good intelectual conversations about the world/economics/politcs/arts/inovation./travels/languages and so much more that the world can offer!
