About Me
I was recently introduced to Couchsurfing by a good friend of mine, and I am in love with the idea. The friendships and experiences we have are what make life a fulfilling journey, and Couchsurfing makes new friends and experiences more accessible for ordinary folks. I have loved travelling since I was a kid, and after graduating college, pesky loans have made seeing the world a little more difficult. I am always on the lookout for a cheap flight, regardless of the destination. No matter where you go, you can make a good experience out of it. I love to be surrounded by nature, but the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle can be just as adventurous. Whether it's around a campfire under the stars, or in the corner booth of a hole in the wall bar, I love to simply experience life. I can enjoy a city doing the "local" stuff, just as much as I can being a tourist. I would consider myself an introvert, but tend to open up when I get comfortable with my surroundings. I enjoy getting to know new people, and sharing life experiences. Local cuisine is a huge part of my visit for any of my destinations. Being a Texan, I love Mexican food, but I am a foodie to the core, and always try new things when I get a chance. Some of the best food I've ever had has come from a sketchy cart or food truck on the side of the street. My musical taste is a bit limited to acoustic and folky stuff, and I enjoy some classical and choral music. However, I'm always up for a good concert, regardless of the genre.
As a guest you can expect that I will respect your property and the rules of your home. Your home will be left in the condition that it was when I arrived. I will be mindful of your privacy, and not be disruptive to the daily functioning of your life. As I mentioned earlier, I'm on the quieter side, but I enjoy a meaningful conversation. I love animals, especially dogs, so please don't be offended if I talk to your pet more than I talk to you.
I am honored that you would consider letting me stay in your home, and I look forward to an awesome experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Seeing new places and meeting new people truly broadens the mind. Couchsurfing makes this a possibility for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical taste varies, and is wide open. I will listen to pretty much anything, but I am partial to any music that involves a banjo. I enjoy thought provoking movies, that challenge you as a person. Always a Harry Potter fan, and I will read anything that holds my attention.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently ziplined on the highest and longest zipline in Central America (i'm terrified of heights), then had cow brain tacos for lunch.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, conversation, and I make a mean grilled cheese sandwich. I can also help with manual labor.
