About Me
I love the outdoors and anything to do with it! I love to travel far and local. Backpacking, camping, offroading, and pretty much any outdoor activity is my thing. I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships and connections with other people not only for the joy of friendships but also with the benefits of helping each other out. So if you scratch my back I'll scratch yours (not literally but you know what I mean).
A big mindset I hold in my everyday life as well as while I am traveling, is a mindset of paying it forward. I know that one reason we choose to couch surf is to minimize our expenses while traveling. I myself personally don't always expect to be given or to give a tangible gift while couchsurfing. But I do strongly believe that when I am given something I don't deserve, it is important to pay it forward and give back to others whenever possible. Whether that is through cleaning the dishes, paying for food when possible, or helping with chores.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to experience the world we live in while meeting new people and developing new relationships everywhere I go. Whether I am traveling local or far I hope to better the lives of those I come in contact with through stories, community, and serving others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
From August 8th, 2017 to August 24th, 2017 I embarked on a sailing trip from San Diego, CA to Oahu, HI. Long story short, we made it about 700 miles of the coast. Had some bad weather that led to parts of the boat breaking forcing us to turn back to land. We ended up ship wrecking at Punta San Hipolito, Baja California Big Sur. I didn't have my passport on me so I had to hitch a ride into the nearest town to catch a bus back to the boarder. I caught a bus over night and walked across the boarder the next day to then return home.
This is a very brief synopsis of this crazy journey, so feel free to ask more about it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not always able to offer a lot to my hosts monetarily, but I am more than willing to offer my time to my host in helping them around the home if they need it. Whether that be cleaning dishes, helping organize stuff, or even some manual labor if needed.
