Overview
About Me
I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, but since I graduated from Wabash College, where I majored in philosophy, I have done a lot of traveling and have lived in a few different places. Most of my favorite things to do involve using my body in different ways, such as running, hiking, swimming, etc. I have a wide range of interests, but in general, I just love seeing new things and meeting new people. I’m a lot better one-on-one or in small groups than I am in large crowds. I still love music and dancing though!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is a great way to meet new people, and it makes traveling much easier, especially for someone on a budget. It is also a great way to get to know a place via those who live there.
Interests
I love exploring all that a new place has to offer, whether that is in a city or the forest. Places big or small with historical significance or architectural/artistic/natural beauty. I have a particular affinity for the really weird and random places in an area, such as the largest pumpkin or the place where a celebrity was born. For example, I have seen every covered bridge in New Hampshire (~70). I’m also a big fan of street art.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am not much of a critic when it comes to these things. I really enjoy just about any type of music, but my favorites are rap and r&b. I studied philosophy, so those types of books interest me, but I also love things like Kurt Vonnegut, Toni Morrison, adventure writing, poetry, etc.

Hiked el Camino de Santiago in Spain.
