About Me

Hi. Finally decided to set up my couch surfer profile and try it out. I like couches and I like meeting new people so seems like a good fit ; ) I have been living in Malaysia for the last four months and am now backpacking around the country. Looking for interesting people to meet and share stories, experiences and perspectives. A native of Australia who is relatively new to international travel. No references unfortunately as I haven't actually stayed with anyone yet. Help me change this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess what brought me to couch surfer is wanting to meet the types of people that would happily let a stranger into their house and turn that awkwardness into friendship. That takes a special kind of optimism. So I want to associate myself with these types of people. And because been a backpacker I want to save money to make my trip last as long as possible. So two reasons, one idealistic the other practical.
