Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When you sit down to a home cooked meal prepared by your friend and they place a visibly dry but flavorful chicken in front of you - that's hotels.

When you sit down to a home cooked meal prepared by your friends and they place a moist by flavorless chicken in front of you - that's airbnb.

When you sit down to a home cooked meal prepared by your friends and they place a succulent, spiced, expertly cooked chicken in front of you - that's CS.

(That uncooked, salmonella-laced pink blob is all-inclusive resorts...)

We're looking for that sweet spot. Staying in hotels and airbnbs is fine if you have to, but staying with future friends can't be beat.
