Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people during my travels and I feel that couch surfing allows others to really interact with locals and to gain invaluable insight into the area. Also I can't tell you how much I appreciate anyone who is kind enough to let me crash on their couch if even for just a night, and I look forward to paying it forward one day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The reason I first used this site, was because in 2015 I bought a one way ticket from CA to Alaska. Hitchhiked from Anchorage to Homer. Eventually made my way, with the help of couch surfing, to Kodiak where I spent my summer working as a fisherman.
